Autumn of 2006 I was given an assignment. My only
direction was to shoot the atmosphere of what it would
feel like to live in the newly developing premier
community of Mountain Gate. Not knowing exactly what to
do I just went out there and shot. Over the course of
several days I captured footage not knowing what to look
for.
Turns out shooting this video fulfilled one of my life's
ambitions. For years I have wanted to shoot video of the
changing seasons, particularly fall colors. It was
always a lack of time that prevented me from doing so.
So this assignment opened the doors and gav

November 29th 2006 back to Mountain Gate I go to
shoot this land development project. I got particularly
lucky on this day. So it starts to snow and I get this
call from Mr. Marty Hall... well we know what that means.
I ran out with the camera. I was certain it would stop
snowing before I got there. It already kinda had. But
when I arrived at MG it started snowing again and it
really was coming down good. So with coat over camera I
setup and began to shoot.
It snowed just over an hour for me which was enough time
for me to shoot in multiple locations. I was poorly

obviously! The video doesn't do this justice. If you want
a life changing adventure, just do it. PS I know we
didn't go very fast, but I think we all knew it was a
once in a lifetime run and didn't want to miss a thing.
