This attack run was recorded on October 29, 2007. I
remember I was hitting this game hard for a solid two
months after I had bought a Dreamcast off of one of my
co-workers. Somewhere early within that time I had also
acquired an old S-VHS VCR so I could record gameplay
footage in all analog glory (as I didn't/don't trust a
DVD-R's capacity to record all those bullets and medals
without artifacting, which mine did).
Not long ago 1/6th of this score was called 'the highest
video game score ever recorded' by the Guinness Book of
World Records, much to my surprise and praise from my
