Prefecture, which is home to Lake Biwa, the largest lake
in Japan, presented a project on the creation of
therapeutic space at the 2008 Small and Medium Enterprise
Fair in Tokyo.
The therapeutic table is a table that utilizes small
spaces to reproduce the soothing sounds of nature such as
the sounds of a small stream.
The sight of killifish and marsh snails living inside an
aquarium combined with the sounds of trickling water that
become the background music reproduce the soothing
effects of nature
