LTV Power Cut Closedown

On 5th January, LTV closed down at an earlier time,
at 2:39 am. This features the voice over weather, a clock
with an announcement. It then fades to black, with a test
card fadng in shortley after. LTV was back on the air at
5:30, but this was not the end to the problems.

At 5:50, Sirius International went off air on LTV,
and was replaced by a blank screen. A test pattern was
shown breifly, followed by a static Sirius Group caption,
with the announcer explaining that the LTV Early Evening
News will be broadcast from RITN in Scotland.

LTV Power Cut 4th January 2009 Part 1

This is Part One of a power cut that hit LTV on 4th
of January 2009. It was caused by a fire in the main
generator that caused all power to be ceased. This
Morning went off air with a blank screen, followed by
coloured bars and a caption saying BAXTERGATE STREET,
which is the headquarters of LTV in Loughborough. It is
then replaced by a caption with music. Later on, they go
to the studios in Melton Mowbray for the news.

After the adverts, which are not included, there are

XHRSOD-TV (both channels can be picked up via sattelite.)
Then the LTV ident plays, leading into Nightwatch With
Steve Scott.
